But in the same time, I would recommend Visual Novel Maker, a game development tool by Degica. It is because of this tool that I could create this visual novel completely on my own, while I don't have any coding experiences.

«The complete version will have more story lines than the current version.
However, because each character's story is individual, therefore players won't have trouble such as having to wait for the ending of a specific character's story. Currently all 12 stories are completed(but without English translation). Only Moran's line has been translated in English for now.

I currently can't promise that there'll be an English version (for the complete game).


For now, there's only an English demo which covers the beginning of the game and Moran's line. The translation is done by myself and the translation is not beta-ed. You can choose the "VersionEnglish" branch to download the English demo.

Recommend you to check the integrity of game files if you have changed a branch.


I'm having some difficulties in my job, so for some time I probably won't be able to update the English translation. But if you want to give me some advice on grammar mistakes in this game, it's welcomed and please send me an email(1263040030@qq.com).
If you want to help translate this game, you can also email me. However, I'm pretty unwilling to spend more money on this game, so (although I might be willing to give you some kind of reward) the reward won't be much.

The Game of The Playful is a visual novel created by one person (characters are drew by outsourced artists). The engine used by this game is Visual Novel Maker.
In this visual novel, you'll play as the Heroine and experience twelve individual stories. In each story, you will establish either friendship or romantic relationships with a man. All twelve stories are independent from each other, so you'll be dating with only one person in one story.
