Hvorfor tidlig adgang?

“As this game was produced as an FMP it only as of the moment holds one area of the game is the starting area with no saving. As time progresses this will be continued with more areas opening up expanding the world and the story.

One of the first updates for Helwyr will see the addition of controller support allowing players to use either controller or mouse& keyboard depending on their preference.

Hvor lang tid vil dette spil være i tidlig adgang?

“As of this moment, I can't currently predict how long it will be Early access title. I am predicting about a year but could be more.”

Hvorledes kommer den fulde version til at være anderledes end produktet i tidlig adgang?

“When the full version is released it will have many different areas that the player can explore allowing for progression of the story to unravel giving more insight into the meaning of Helwyr and what the word underwent in the 24 years since the player died.

This will be slowly updated as time progresses with additional enemies, weapons, areas, items, and abilities being added.

With new additions, bugs will arise and will be dealt with as soon as possible.”

Hvad er den nuværende tilstand for versionen med tidlig adgang?

“Helwyr currently has one full completed area being the starting section, this offers around 1-2 hours of playtime depending on exploration. This is a fully dynamic world that holds beautiful landscapes, voice acting, and quests. There are bugs still as of the moment but none that appear game-breaking.”

Ændrer spillets pris sig under og efter tidlig adgang?

“With new sections of the game releasing the will be roughly a 25% price increase depending on how much content is added.”

“You will be able to find updates on Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, and Tumblr. Please check these frequently as I do update them on a regular basis.”

Om dette spil

Helwyr is a new IP being a 3D, third-person Action-RPG that follows the traits of games in the souls-like genre. Within Helwyr as of now consists of three sections being the Forest, Deserted town, and a Graveyard. While in these areas the player will come across challenges such as enemies they have to defeat and upon killing them gaining Essence that will allow for leveling, there is a side quest that will add some side story and finishing off the area with a boss enemy.

This game has been produced in 4 months by myself for my university Final Major Project. I will hopefully be continuing development on this game once finished, as it stands now the game has one full playable section being the beginning area that will hopefully expand to have multiple sections trailing off it.

People born with a special birthmark obtained special abilities; these grew to be known as Helwyr. They were stronger and faster than normal humans with special abilities, as they grew, they took on the roles of protectors of the human race.

For many years the humans lived at peace with the Helwyr protecting them from the beasts but, as time went by the flame of hope these people brought to the world was snuffed out. Now with only a few left can peace be restored to this devastated world?
