What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“I am a solo developer who loves roguelike and hack & slay games. I have been working for a long time to develop a game that combines hack & slay elements with roguelike elements. The core gameplay experience is already implemented, but the process of adding more content, improving art and sound (adding music), and adding other convenience features remains. I want to do this with the players in Early Access.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Early Access is expected to last 12 to 18 months. Because I'm developing it on my own and I'm currently a student.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I plan to include co-op multiplayer, quests and different game modes. I also plan to improve the simulation and generation of levels, AI, and modifying weapons with items.
In addition, features from the community may also be included in the full version.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Currently there is no ingame music.
The current state of development includes the possibility to start a run, in this run to fight against different opponents, among other things also against different bosses.
Resources can be collected by smashing asteroids or enemies, so items can be made and combined at randomly generated stations. The weapon can currently be modified (partially) via items. At the end of a run, experience points are credited depending on progress, these are converted into skill points, this can be used to level up certain persistent starting attributes.

The game simulates each object in a level, there are a finite number of enemies on each level, and the portal to the next level must always be found. The portal can be randomly placed in the level or dropped by a boss.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“During Early Access the price is reduced by 50%.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Leave your comments on the Steam Community! I will give as many answers as possible. Your feedback will play a very important role in deciding what content to add during the development process.”

Content in current early access version

  • 5 types of resources
  • 3 types of NPC stations (craft items, trade resources, combine items)
  • 4 types of items with a total number of 64 items
  • All item effects can be combined (it can lead to extreme weapons that fill the entire screen)
  • 8 different normal enemies
  • 2 different elites
  • 3 different bosses (one of them in prime version)
  • 3 biomes
  • Persistent level progression.
  • Procedurally generated worlds.
  • A run contains 15 levels, the biome changes every 5 levels and each boss of a biome is a normal but rarer enemy in the next biome.
  • Performance optimized to handle several thousand objects (items, enemies, bosses) at once
  • Currently natively supported mouse and keyboard input

Tips

  • It is normal that you will lose runs. After each run you'll get experience that will let you level up. With each level you'll get skill points that can be distributed to different attributes, making it increasingly easier to reach the more difficult biomes.
  • If you are low on health, don't try to distract the enemies by flying away, because this can quickly lead to a huge swarm of enemies coming after you. It's better to dodge the projectiles.
  • You should invest your resources in crafting stations as soon as possible to get items, they will make you much stronger. you should also equip them (C to open the inventory).
