«The game will be in Early Access for approximately eight months.»

«The game will be released into Early Access with at least six levels (three levels of difficulty each). There will be at least six types towers (five of which have upgrades) and at least 10 different types of enemies. The finished game will have more enemies, more towers and more levels as well as a campaign with scripted fully voiced dialogue.»

«The game is no quite ready for release to Early Access yet, but expect that in the coming weeks.
At it's current state, there are 10 different types of enemies, six types of towers (five with two additional levels of upgrades), and six finished levels. There currently are 20 different types of perks. The programming is feature complete. Our current efforts focus on polish and small improvements.»

Defenders of the West is a classic tower defense game set in the wild west. It adds some unique twists to the classic genre and will appeal to players of all skill levels.
A large gang of bandits has organized into a small army. The old Marshall Robert B. Gun has enlisted you and some of his old friends to stop them.
The unique setting, beautiful, hand crafted environments, dynamic levels and a cool story with a pinch of humor set this game apart from other tower defense games.
A wide variety of enemies, towers with at least 3 upgrades each, perks and abilities combined with three levels of difficulty offer high replayability.
Set up your towers and watch the carnage unfold with a rotatable and zoom- able camera! Show those bandits what it means to be a Defender of the West!
