«Although we have a clear picture of where Legends of the Brawl is going, we'd love to have community input on how we get there.

We have a huge roster of potential playable characters and determining the priority for character development is something we'd really like to have community input on, especially from those that love the Legends of the Brawl universe and are actively playing.

We also don't have the budget to be able to just develop the complete game and drop it on the market. We will use any Early Access revenue to reinvest in the game, make it better, and make it faster than we could otherwise.

Legends of the Brawl is a passion project for us, but ultimately we're building it for the coop gaming community, so all the input and feedback we can get will be invaluable as we build out the full game.»

«Legends of the Brawl will have an extensive Early Access phase as we continuously add characters, abilities, enemies, and environments, and fine-tune, and polish all content.

Ideally we will have a full version ready by Q4 2021, although Q4 2022 is possible given the unknowns. We prefer to release a smaller amount of high quality content rather than a lot of content which might be buggy or lacking polish.»

«We will exit early access once we have at least 4 playable legends, and 4 environments each with multiple mission types and side quests available, as well as a central social hub for partying up, upgrading gear, and testing out abilities.

The "gold" version (final "full version) planned will have 8 playable legends, 6-8 environments, and a well polished long term RPG upgrade system.»

Каково текущее состояние версии в раннем доступе?

«Currently the Early Access version includes:
- single player intro / tutorial level
- bonus sidequest car destruction minigame

As soon as the co-op code is ready we will release beta versions for testing & balancing, server load testing, and objective polishing.

Likewise, as soon as the economy system is complete, it will be added to the full version for testing, balancing, etc. There will likely be a couple of rounds of inventory wipes before the final version is locked in place, but everyone who played the beta version and helped us tune the game will receive a nice bunch of in-game loot so the loss of progress is a little less painful.»

«The Early Access price reflects Legends of the Brawl's current pre-alpha state. The full version will be priced as comparable high quality indie games.»

«Community feedback will be crucial in helping shape ability loadouts and strategies for each character as well as balancing power levels for fun gameplay regardless of the legend you choose to play.
