Why Early Access?

“We launched Paraiso Island in March 2019 on PlayStation, with a year of single player testing and launching a slew of DLC. The game on sale here on STEAM is a fully working Early Access version. It also includes more than a year of incorporated DLC as part of the package. The next phase is now upon us, with plans to develop the game as a multiplayer experience, new content and also introducing more islands and characters.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The plan is to have many updates in Year One and launch shortly there after.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We will take all the feedback of our players and fans into consideration as we see Paraiso Island and its story as part of a journey we want to embark on with our players. The game will continuously evolve this year and new updates will enrich the gameplay experience. Some of the add-ons will be released as a simple game update, some will be offered as DLC.

Paraiso Island is a game-as-a-service and we are here to serve you, the amazing STEAM community.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version includes all the DLC from our PlayStation Early Access phase. Although the game was free to play - as a lite version - the STEAM release includes all the updates and the following DLC:

• Hotel Expansion
• Restaurant Expansion
• Mysterious Stranger
• Carnivale Pack
• Day of the Dead Pack

You are playing yourself manifested in the beautiful body of an island iguana. Curious and always helpful you are meeting Noodoo first, a bat washed ashore with a broken wing. Noodoo is helping you through the tutorial and teaches you the basics.

This version includes and abundance of different challenges and quests that can change daily and keep you busy every day. Meet and engage with all the different Islanders and learn what challenges they have. Everyone has a certain set of skills that has nothing to do with the things agents learn. Meet Miguel, Fay Fuzz, Bootleg Bob, Rico, Ode, Señorita Bombas, Shark Fang Puck, and many more.

More characters will be introduced soon.

Also, the STEAM version includes a major round of updates of known bugs, reworking code, and also a general tidy up.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“At launch, the game will be discounted by 40% for the first few weeks. It will then be set to 100%. The STEAM version contains more than a year of incorporated DLC previously available on Sony's PlayStation.

As mentioned, we will also be introducing new DLC this year. These will be paid-for DLC.

Also, a portion of sales is given to chosen charities. In some cases, certain DLC will receive 100% of the net revenue generated. Our current charity partner: All Hands and Hearts (Disaster Relief Organization).”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The STEAM community has always been our ultimate goal. We want our next phase of Early Access to be built on listening and developing updates driven by you, the players.
