Why Early Access?

“This game has been in development for quite some time, and we believe we are at a point in which community feedback could provide valuable insight for requested features, as well as fine tuning the mechanics already in place.”

“The full version is planned to have six levels (all of which are already in progress), additional playable characters (also in progress), more polished boss battles, and a smoother gameplay experience.”

Battle robots to level up, beat challenging bosses, and complete quests to level up! PowerBots Retro is a retro-styled metroidvania made with fans of old-school gaming in mind. This game is full of challenging levels and secret passages, with power-ups to help you reach new levels.

    • Processor: Quad-core Intel or AMD processor, 2.5 GHz or faster
    • Memory: 4 GB RAM
    • Graphics: If you can run paint, you should be good.
    • Network: Broadband Internet connection
    • Storage: 100 MB available space
    • Sound Card: Any
    • Additional Notes: Needs Java installed (installation included in game build)
