What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We want to take the time to ensure that Fights in Tight Spaces is a fully-featured, balanced and polished experience for long-term players.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Likely less than a year.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Another character class is currently in progress and we currently believe there is a strong chance of that making it into the game during Early Access.

We would like to expand the range of enemies, minibosses and bosses. And we will be adding the Daily Play feature so players can compete against one another on leaderboards.

Early Access should give us the opportunity to ensure the viability of different playstyles and mature the deckbuilding aspect of the game to the point where an evolving meta that can sustain the regular addition of new cards is possible.

We will also add additional language support to the game.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version is a full, five-level game which can easily sustain more than 40 hours of play and includes all the features mentioned in the game's main description on this page with the exception of Daily Challenges.

It is a polished and robust experience that is a lot of fun to play right now - players have rated our free Prologue which consists only of the first level Overwhelmingly Positive.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We do not currently plan to change the price.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback on balance, UX and desired future features will be absolutely critical to our Early Access process! Through our alpha and late beta phases we have been putting out regular builds to our testing community for feedback, and Early Access will give us the opportunity to ramp this up. We believe that Fights in Tight Spaces can be a truly great tactical deckbuilding game and the only way to achieve this is through long-term player input.”

In an era where espionage is handled largely by data-packets being pored over by teams of analysts, Section Eleven’s approach is more hands-on, dealing with the sorts of criminal organizations who live and operate outside the realms of electronic communication. When the rest of the intelligence services have failed, they call Section Eleven.

As a Section Eleven agent, it is your job to find direct solutions to emerging threats… largely by smashing people’s faces into things.
