為何採用搶先體驗模式？

「Why Early Access? Simple. We want you to taste the goods before the full buffet is ready. Plus, we figure, why wait to get some feedback when you can start yelling at us early, right?」

「We’re kickin’ things off with the first episode at launch, but here’s the deal: we’re lookin’ at 4 months to wrap up 3-4 episodes. If all goes smoothly—and trust me, Deathpuddle, it will—we might just stick around and keep cranking out episodes. I mean, what else am I gonna do with my time? Get my GED? Yeah, right.」

正式版預計會與搶先體驗版有何不同？

「The full version? Just more of the good stuff—more episodes, that’s it. We’re aiming to get multiplayer and localization polished up real nice, but if they’re a little rough at first, don’t worry. We’ll get ‘em squared away faster than your mom can leave your dad and go on tour with me.」

「Episode 1, Work Release, is ready to rock with close to 2 hours of content. Honestly, it could be a game on its own, but we’re not just going for ‘good.’ We’re going for ‘legendary.’ We’re planning at least 3-4 episodes for the first game, but if you all keep the love coming, who knows? We might just keep the episodes rolling!」

Welcome to Deathpuddle: Choose Violence?, a thrilling and darkly comedic graphic cinematic narrative choice-driven adventure novel that puts you in control of Deathpuddle, a tall, lean ex-convict currently incarcerated. Falsely accused of impersonating a prisoner on prison property and breaking into people’s hearts, Deathpuddle's life is a whirlwind of humor, action, and bizarre situations. Clad in his blue hero costume, Deathpuddle is an anti-hero with not-so-superhero-like powers and tendencies.

In this episodic adventure game, each mission is an epic quest filled with unique challenges and outrageous characters. The first confirmed episode, "Prickster Rescue Protocol," sees Deathpuddle on a mission to save the kidnapped governor Prickster. Subsequent episodes will have Deathpuddle facing off against all manner of formidable foes, each story more epic and absurd than the last.

Meet a cast of unforgettable characters, including the gruff halfway house manager Marcus 'Ciggy' Jones, the quirky bunkmates Stinky Steve and Beans, the stern but severe Warden, the Judge, Correctional Officer Ceyo, the hot detective Veronica Chase, and frequent guest appearances of the local SWAT team. Engage in darkly humorous dialogues, make pivotal choices, and experience multiple outcomes based on your decisions. The game features video segments with impressive graphics and animations, enhancing the storytelling experience. Players can choose to enjoy the story through audio, text, or both, similar to an audiobook or visual novel.
