« This is a roguelike game and so a major aspect of that will be balancing against a large amount of players, more than we would have access to privately. »

« 6-8 months. We have a huge head start on the core gameplay systems, mechanics, weapons, and enemies, as we've been working on this game in secret for a very, very long time. »

« Our goal for the final release version is to have a total of 5 calamities, each with 5 unique casefiles to solve in addition to the calamity campaign and casefiles that exist currently.
Additionally, we aim to include the final main story campaign which will conclude Cass, Hank, and Muriel's story... »

« The current state of the Early Access version features 1 full calamity campaign with 5 working casefiles, enemy types, and bosses. The level generator is up and working smoothly, ensuring no two cases play the same. The precinct has an armory where weapons found in the game can be added to the character load out. There are stats, upgrades, and officer rank-up events. There are several rookie class types to choose from. »

About This Game
In this survival horror roguelite, players assume the role of a rookie officer tasked with navigating the unsettling avenues of a city shrouded in enigma and peril. The objective is clear: survive the ordeals and reach retirement while confronting the horrors that lurk in the city's depths.

Gameplay Overview:
Character Creation: Players start by creating an officer, each with a distinct career path filled with diverse opportunities and challenges.

Police Precinct: Within the Police Precinct, players can select characters, explore side stories, and utilize permanent upgrade points for station enhancements. These points, earned through retirement, are account-bound, preserving progress throughout the game.

World Map: The World Map allows players to choose a casefile, marking the commencement of a new campaign. Each campaign unfolds in a unique city sector, offering varied experiences and challenges.

Casefiles: Campaigns consist of five themed casefiles and a final boss. Players complete tasks within each casefile, such as uncovering evidence, rescuing survivors, and eliminating enemies, to accrue experience points (XP).

Rank Up: Accumulated XP provides the chance to Rank Up at the conclusion of each casefile. This process involves selecting from 3-4 random traits to augment the officer's capabilities.

DOOM: The game features a unique DOOM stat that escalates with each adverse event. A DOOM percentage of 100% triggers a complete game restart.

Retirement Option: Players have the choice to retire their character at the end of a casefile or campaign. While retirement concludes the current career, it yields permanent upgrade points for the police station, contributing to continuous gameplay enhancement.

Game Experience:
The game emphasizes the horror elements, set within a city filled with unexpected and chilling encounters. The occasional infusion of humor offers a contrasting experience, maintaining the game's engaging and thrilling nature.
