END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (EULA)

1. Scope & Acceptance
This EULA governs your use of DEATH COURIER, including all updates, patches, DLCs, digital content, and online features (collectively, the “Product”). By installing, downloading, or using the Product, you agree to this EULA. The Steam terms (including the Steam Subscriber Agreement and Refund Policy) also apply. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

2. License Grant
Subject to this EULA, the Licensor grants you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to install and use the Product for private, non-commercial purposes.
You may:
- install and run the Product on your own devices;
- make one backup copy for archival/restore purposes.
All other rights are reserved.

3. Ownership & Intellectual Property
The Product is protected by copyright and other laws. All rights, title and interest in and to the Product (including software, graphics, audio, trademarks, and game content) are owned by the Licensor or its licensors. You acquire no ownership rights—only the license above.

4. Restrictions
You may not:
- rent, lease, lend, sell, sublicense, or make the Product publicly available;
- decompile, reverse engineer, or modify the Product, except where permitted by mandatory law;
- circumvent DRM or security; use, distribute, or promote cheats/bots/trainers;
- upload or distribute unlawful, offensive, or infringing content;
- use the Product commercially (e.g., arcades, internet cafés) without written consent.

5. Online Services, Accounts & Anti-Cheat
Online features may require internet access, third-party accounts, and updates. To protect fairness and security, the Licensor may use anti-cheat measures (client/server). In case of cheating, tampering, abuse, or EULA breaches, online features may be limited and access may be suspended. For data processing details, see the Privacy Notice.

6. User-Generated Content (UGC), Workshop & Mods
If the Product allows creation/sharing of UGC (e.g., via Steam Workshop):
- You warrant you hold necessary rights to your UGC.
- You grant the Licensor a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, display, distribute, and technically adapt the UGC as needed to operate, market, and distribute the Product.
- UGC must not infringe third-party rights or be unlawful/offensive.
- Mods, where permitted, must be non-commercial, use provided interfaces/tools only, and must not circumvent protections. Mods are provided “as is” and unsupported.

7. Streaming & Fan Content
We permit streaming, Let’s Plays, and screenshots, including monetization (e.g., YouTube/Twitch), provided that:
- assets/soundtracks are not redistributed in isolation;
- you do not imply endorsement/official partnership;
- platform policies are followed.
The Licensor may revoke this permission for good cause.

8. Privacy
Information on personal data processing (e.g., for online features/anti-cheat/crash logs) is provided in our Privacy Notice: . The Privacy Notice is not part of this EULA but governs how data is processed.

9. Updates & Changes
The Product may automatically receive updates/patches. The Licensor may change this EULA prospectively (e.g., for new features or legal reasons). For material changes you will be informed; continued use after notice constitutes acceptance. If you object, you may cease use (see Section 13). Mandatory rights remain unaffected.

10. Health & Safety
A small percentage of individuals may experience seizures (photosensitivity) when exposed to certain visual patterns. Stop playing if symptoms occur (dizziness, nausea, eye strain). Minors should play under supervision. Follow your system/hardware safety guidance.

11. Warranty Disclaimer (“AS IS”)
To the extent permitted by law, the Product is provided “as is”, without express or implied warranties (including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement). Mandatory consumer rights are unaffected.

12. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Licensor is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, lost profits, data loss, or business interruption. Overall liability—where permitted—is limited to the actual purchase price paid. This does not limit liability for intent or gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, or mandatory product liability.

13. Term & Termination
This EULA remains in effect until terminated by you or the Licensor. You may terminate at any time by uninstalling the Product and destroying copies. The Licensor may terminate immediately upon material breach. Upon termination, you must cease use and delete copies; disclaimers and limitations survive.

14. Third-Party Notice: Unreal Engine (Epic Games)
This Product uses Unreal® Engine.
Notice: Epic Games, Inc. and its affiliates are not parties to this EULA and are not responsible for the Product. Epic provides no warranties regarding the Product and is not liable for losses, claims, or damages arising from or related to the Product. Epic is a third-party beneficiary of this EULA and may enforce provisions relating to Unreal Engine. “Unreal” and “Unreal Engine” are trademarks or registered trademarks of Epic Games, Inc. in the United States and elsewhere.

15. Governing Law & Venue
This EULA is governed by the laws of Switzerland, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
Consumer protection: Mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence remain applicable.
Venue: Where legally permitted, exclusive venue is Zurich, Switzerland.

16. Export Controls & Sanctions
You represent that you are not located in a country subject to embargo/sanctions and will not export, re-export, or provide the Product in violation of applicable export laws.

17. Severability & Miscellaneous
If any provision is invalid, the remainder remains in effect; the invalid provision shall be replaced with a valid one that best achieves its purpose.
You may not assign this EULA or rights hereunder without consent; the Licensor may assign in connection with corporate restructuring.
This EULA constitutes the entire agreement between you and the Licensor regarding the Product (in addition to Steam terms for distribution).
