"Creating a game as an indie developer means less resources than big studios.

By releasing the game into early access, community feedback can help make the process a little easier. Key issues identified by the users can be addressed more quickly and directly. Balancing will be easier with community feedback as well. Through community feedback and participation a much higher quality product can be provided."

"The game will be in early access until all main features and goals are reached. This will take approximately 6 - 12 months."

"The finished version will be a much more balanced version of this game. During early access the game will be expanded significantly across all major gameplay areas.

Currently the overworld areas and network roguelike area are fairly simple, but with a complete gameplay loop.

  • New Areas, connected to the countries that they would appear in
  • Expansion of the interior of the ship with additional rooms and functionality
  • Improvements to both enemy and friendly AI for overworld battles
  • Assault mode where you can take units to attack the enemy directly to help liberate areas


Network:
  • More weapons
  • More Enemy variety
  • More Bosses
  • More perks
  • More avatars
  • More special abilities
  • More room variety
  • Variations in themes for the entire maps

In 2074 the last stronghold of man fell to the machines. The machines let the remaining humans live as they no longer posed a threat, but they watch them closely. 10 years later a group known as Ferroplasma has started to build a resistance. Join the fight and help liberate man.

What is Ferroplasma?

Ferroplasma is hybrid third person roguelike mixed with world defense/liberation. In this game, you'll play as a soldier tasked with leading the human resistance against the machines.

You will be able to recruit new units as well as research new technologies, abilities, and equipment. You will need to defend your ship when it is on the ground from the waves of machines that will track you down.

Missions will be performed inside the machine network. After weakening the machines enough, you will be able to liberate and capture areas. Giving you bonus resources and other abilities. While inside the machine network you will be able to pick up some permanent items, like new avatars to use while in the machine as well as permanent upgrades that will stick with you the next time you enter.
