What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“This is because we want to take feedback from players and refine it in order to make this game even better.
Since Shizuku is a game with a method that has never been used before, we want to test whether this is really an interesting way to play the game.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“It's six months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Only one chapter is playable in the current version, but we plan to have more chapters when the game is officially released.

Also, there are currently three different characters that the main character can transform into, but we plan to add a few more.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The basic gameplay is playable and gives you an idea of where Shizuku is headed.
The full version of the game will have a longer storyline than the current version, but currently it is possible to transform into a fox, a human, and a mite by advancing the storyline.
It is also long enough as a story to defeat the first small boss.
For more information, please check "About this".”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“It is available at a lower price only during early access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will use the Steam community to actively reflect community input in the game.
Shizuku wants to create a game that says, "This is Japan," so we would like to collect feedback from people around the world on "these elements that are Japan" and reflect them in the game.
We also want to brush up on basic gameplay such as action.”
