Miksi Early Access?

As an early adopter of virtual reality headsets I've had the pleasure to watch the variety of games available on the platform drastically increase over the last few years. During this time I've actively looked for a city and resource management game and never quite found the experience I was looking for. A few months ago I decided I would attempt to make my own game that filled the role I was after. I've finally reached a point in development where I consider Coloniam ready for Early Access. I made the decision to release Coloniam on Steam for others to enjoy and to shape the early stages of development from community feedback.

I expect the game to stay in early access for six to twelve months. This could change based on community feedback.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

The base idea behind Coloniam is implemented and I'm are currently seeking community feedback on this design. The initial version is a proof of concept to gauge community interest with a majority of the assets being placeholders.

Features:
Create and manage colonies on procedurally-generated islands.
Unlock different buildings by increasing the size of your colonies.
Build a variety of production and community buildings to meet the ever-increasing needs of your colonists.
Manage resources to keep your colonies profitable.
Build boats to colonize and establish trade routes with other islands.

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

The price will gradually increase as new content and features are added to the game. As significant milestones are reached the price might slightly increase as to reward early access purchasers.

Additional features and the direction of currently implemented mechanics will be driven primarily by the community. The community is encouraged to make suggestions and discuss other topics via the Steam community or discussion boards.
