„Disc golf is a growing sport that many people would like to see given the proper video game treatment. That is exactly what we are working to achieve with our game "Ultimate Disc Golf". In development for close to two years quietly by our team we have just entered the public alpha phase. A few months ago we began the process of making our updates public and built a solid marketing plan to build a community to help us deliver the game they wanted and deserved. Because of this we now have a growing community of dedicated fans that are excited to see the game come to Early Access and will be ready to purchase the day it becomes available.

We have 100% self-funded the development of UDG and are now in talks with exotic course owners, disc manufacturers, disc golf media companies, and others who are starting to come on board and get involved with the game. Early access for UDG would allow those that want to see a full disc golf video game experience become a reality get behind what we are trying to do, while allowing us to continue putting quality development into the game.“

„Until approximately Fall of 2020 which is when the full release of Ultimate Disc Golf is slated for.“

„The initial release for early access will include a limited disc and course selection as well as being single player only. This will give our team the opportunity to get player feedback on core game mechanics, physics, performance, bugs, etc.

We'll use this information to polish the core game-play before quickly moving onto releasing more content including characters, outfits, discs, courses, and more. The full version will also feature additional game-modes including online multi-player, challenges, tournaments. In addition to more game-modes the full version will also include features such as side-missions, cross-platform leader-boards, achievements, hidden items, and more. Many of the full version features have already been implemented, but will not be released until core game-play is fully polished using real player feedback.

If things go well, we also plan to support VR & motion controller devices which is already possible with the implemented core functionality within UDG.“

„The current build we'll be releasing for early access includes the following:

Single player mode with scoring
1 9 hole course
1 18 hole course
Character creation
3 disc types

All core game-play mechanics including full character locomotion system, aim and throw, throw types, limited open-world courses, trajectory assistance, disc finder, and more.“

„Yes, one of our goals with Ultimate Disc Golf is to help grow the sport and have it reach new audiences globally. In order to do this TREE Industries plan to make the game affordable and accessible to everyone.

If approved for Early Access we plan to make the game 50% of the price of the eventual full version for the duration of early access.“

„Our marketing team had done a tremendous job getting content out about the ongoing development of Ultimate Disc Golf, which has resulted in a steadily growing community of potential players who have followed us on social media. We also have a growing mailing list of people interested in direct updates about UDG.
