  • A powerful and versatile magic system that allows the player to create innumerable magical effects through the creative use of the spell words.
  • A dungeon-crawling game in which the player explores several different dungeons on the Plane of Shadows, a misty, dark, and somber place.
  • Dozens of different items to collect on the different runs.
  • Hordes of enemies, but some friendly NPCs.
  • Procedurally-generated dungeons. Every run is different.
  • Turn-based, grid-based, combat.
  • Permadeath.
  • Learn new spell words as you explore the Plane of Shadows, unlocking more uncommon and interesting combinations for spells.
