“As members of the indie / doujinshi creator community, we want to create a free platform for the easy digital distribution of doujinshi. We also want this platform to be user-friendly and easily accessible for readers in the East and West.
Therefore, we would like to hear from user feedback during development to help guide future updates and improvements. But all of this requires us to have an active user base first. Thus, we decided to make Nekoview available as soon as possible to better collect community feedback.

Berapa lama perisian ini dijangka akan berada dalam Akses Awal?

“Since the application is not very complicated, we estimate that Nekoview’s Early Access status will last for about half a year.
We hope the official release will meet all of our expectations.”

“Better functionality:
Easier importation of locally sorted libraries;
Ability to directly import art books from your purchased games on Steam;
Easily manage your library by being able to organize digital bookshelves, label works as read/unread, place bookmarks, remember the last page read, and more.
Improved user experience:
The final version should be more user-friendly, in particular in terms of the UI.
More supported formats:
More formats, including archives, will be supported.
More books:
We hope that more creators can join us and share their works as DLCs on the final version of this platform.
Future Mac Support:
We intend on expanding Nekoview to other platforms like Mac.”

Bagaimanakah keadaan semasa versi Akses Awal?

“So far we have basically finished building core functions and uploading first-party works. At present, we are ready to release 7 original works on Nekoview, and the ability to create local libraries is already available. We will make further improvements in the Early Access stage and add more books.”

Adakah harga perisian ini berbeza semasa dan selepas Akses Awal?

“Nekoview is and will always be free.
As it is mentioned above, we want Nekoview to be a platform for the easy digital distribution of doujinshi across the East and West. We hope that it can also satisfy readers and be a great boon to a large number of creators, especially original doujinshi creators.
For these purposes, Nekoview has to be free.

Please note that while Nekoview and all of its features are free, it is our hope that Nekoview will serve as a distribution platform for content creators. Thus, Nekoview will have Steam DLCs containing third-party works from creators who wish to share their works through Nekoview. Exactly like buying real life doujinshis, these DLCs will be priced according to each creator's wishes.”

Bagaimana anda merancang untuk melibatkan Komuniti dalam proses pembangunan anda?

“We expect to communicate with our users as much as possible through the Steam Community forums and Discord to know what they think. We will listen and respond to their experience, advice, expectations and bug reports through interaction with the community. Equally important, we would also like to know which creators' works users want to see on our platform.”
