About This Game

The Daedalus Protocol is the first Metaverse RPG: a FPS dungeon crawler RPG, where every room is an entire game world!

It's 2071. Earth is now ruled by a unified, tyrannical bureaucracy called the Unified Order. The only place that escapes the Order's control is called Daedalus:
a network of old video games and virtual worlds from the early 2000's, interconnected into the same universe - or metaverse, as it was once called.
Today Daedalus is almost completely desert of human players, and is ruled by AI and programs - evolved from the NPCs and scripts of yesteryear.
The only humans that still roam the place are a small group of hackers that call themselves the Netrunners. Half artist collective and half cult, these Netrunners believe that the Interlude is ruled by a mystical entity that can grant immense power to the player that will find it. So they keep looking for it, roaming through the thousands of worlds and games searching for clues on this mysterious entity.

Your best friend had only recently got in touch with the Netrunners, and now he has disappeared for several weeks. If you want to find him, you'll have to follow his footsteps... into the Interlude itself, across all these old games and worlds that no human has played for decades.
