“Because this game is character-driven and designed similarly to a fighting game, it would be nearly impossible to balance all the game’s characters and mechanics without player feedback along the way as we continue to flesh the game out. And the earlier we can start getting this feedback the better. Even AAA studios sometimes release balance patches for years after a game is released, so we need the head start.”

Hvor lang tid vil dette spil være i tidlig adgang?

“The full release should be sometime in 2021, though we’re not exactly sure when yet. That's not to say we won't possibly add more characters and content after the main launch,”

“More characters, more stages, and more special moves are all planned.

We are working on significant improvements to the game’s CPU opponent AI. We will be balancing and rebalancing characters and skills as we develop the game and receive player feedback.

We hope to add robust single-player content on top of the current VS mode:
We are working on a traditional ‘arcade mode’ similar to what you’d expect from most fighting games: A single player experience where you try to fight your way through a parade of opponents with the best score possible, with a special boss fight at the end.

We are also planning an extensive single player story mode with unique levels, boss fights, challenges, and of course the opportunity to learn more about the characters and the world they live in.

Hvad er den nuværende tilstand for versionen med tidlig adgang?

“The initial release contains a VS mode, where two players can play against each other, or a single player can play against a CPU. This is modeled after the VS mode in most fighting games. The game currently has 8 characters and 5 stages.

It is fully playable as a 2 player local VS game, with robust multiple gamepad support.”

Ændrer spillets pris sig under og efter tidlig adgang?

“We decided to launch in early access with a price point that reflects the currently available amount of content, because many of the features we would like to add are not implemented yet. We intend to increase the price once we feel the amount of content the game offers warrants it.”

Hvordan har I tænkt jer at involvere fællesskabet i jeres udviklingsproces?

“We will be gathering as much player feedback as possible to balance and tweak the general gameplay. (Such as which character match-ups seem unbalanced, what’s over/under-powered, more/less fun to use, what single player content is too easy/hard etc.)

At the moment the best place to leave feedback is on the Steam Discussion Board. (But if players would prefer other channels we may set something else up as well) We will also be posting links to player feedback surveys.”
