「Early Access will last between 6 months to 2 years depending of the success of the game, which will impact the scope.

The game will be worked on every day the next 14 months regardless of success.」

「The current version is polished, bugs are minimal, and core combat and interaction mechanics are already in place.

I could sell game as an arena shooter as is but this is not the way.

My philosophy is always quality over quantity, so the game is already enjoyable with the current combat build.

「I want to create the most amazing mech VR combat game possible, so feedback and input from the community is mandatory.
Anyone who has ever watched mech themed anime knows the style of play I am going for.
Full Macross / Gundam Mech vs Mech combat.

The community is what will make Bakemono the best it can be, and I intend to use Steam, Reddit, and Discord as the central places for exchanging ideas and taking feedback.

It is my opinion that modding greatly add value to a game and is a necessity on Steam, extending lifespan and adding variety in ways a developer sometimes cannot, so it is my intent to make the game as openly moddable as possible.
I plan to add support for custom maps, new weapons and even the possibility for modders to add new game modes.」
