“The Game will be remaining in Early Access for another 15 months:

The focus of the coming updates would be to add in Player Stats, add in more new Opponents, implement In-depth Kendo Mechanics, and Match Judging Criteria.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version is just the Work In Progress of the full version, which will contain the following features:

• In-depth Kendo Mechanics and Match Judging Criteria.
  
• Total 10 Opponents with different stances and technique preferences.
  
• KENDO demonstrations: KAMAE, SUBURI, HIKI-WAZA, RENZOKU-WAZA, TSUBAZERIAI, FOOTWORK
  
• KENDO guided training: KAMAE, SUBURI, HIKI-WAZA, RENZOKU-WAZA, TSUBAZERIAI, FOOTWORK
  
• Player Stats: Daily Suburi, Total Matches Fought, Used Techniques Overview, and the Daily Application Used Time.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The following are the base features that have been implemented for KENDO.

Lecture Demonstration:

• Select and play a scene and watch the fundamental rules of KENDO being enacted out.

Guided Training:

• Select between KAKARITE(Active) or Motodachi(Passive) as you practice your selected techniques.

KENDO Match:

• Select between a sparring match and a three-point match judged by a referee. Modify the opponent's setting before starting the match.

Custom Music Import

• Q: How do I import and play music in the application?
  A: Follow the steps below;
  In your Steam Library, right-click the application and select "Properties".
  Click on the tab "Local Files", and click on "Browse Local Files".
  In the newly opened window of the Installation Directory, click on "KENDO_Data".
  Place your music files into the folder "StreamingAssets".

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Unless a large and currently unplanned feature is added to the game, there are currently no plans for the price to increase in the future.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback will be taken into consideration every step of the way. While I plan to keep a strong vision for how the game will shape up, I want to be very responsive to whether or not players are enjoying themselves and feeling satisfied with the game they're playing.
