Why Early Access?

“Each player expects something slightly different from a game, and we would like to incorporate as many views as possible into the development of Tower Empire Builder. In order to create the best product possible, we highly encourage users to provide feedback so that the first full release of the game is able to meet as many expectations as possible. We also look forward to having users feel involved in the development and know that they had an impact on the final product.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Tower Empire Builder expects to be in Early Access for approximately 6 months. We believe this time frame will allow us to understand player wants without unnecessary delays. However, Tower Empire Builder will always accept player feedback, even after Early Release, and include that content in future updates as the game evolves.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version of Tower Empire Builder will have additional game modes, rather than simply being a sandbox game. There will be career mode, where players are able to build a true empire across the city and manage multiple towers. There will also be a situational mode where players are tasked with taking over a tower from a questionable landlord and turning the ship around to make a profitable tower. In addition to these large changes, there will be smaller changes including new units, amenities, goals, etc.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version of Tower Empire Builder offers a fully playable sandbox game. You are able to build a single tower from the ground up, managing units, rent, staff, elevators, and more.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The first full release is expected to increase by about 25% after Early Access. This is planned to both account for additional content, as well as reward those community members' whose early feedback helps with development.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“In addition to reviewing feedback provided in reviews, we will be looking for feedback in a number of ways. We strongly encourage players to join the forums on our website so that we are able to engage in productive discussion rather than simply reacting to the small amount of feedback provided through reviews. If community members do not want to use the forums for any reason, there is a contact us form on the website where you can contact the development team directly.”
