Why Early Access?

“This playable technology showcase is stil WIP - therefore this Early Access. There are a lot of things I want to add until this playable technology showcase is complete for use in new game. This will include testing and feedback from players.”

“In Early Access will be - about 6 months maximum one year.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“This game (technology showcase) will serve as the basis of the VR game system for separate new game. After Early Access I will have all things prepared for start working on new game. This technology showcase (this is a playable technology showcase, as separate full game) is basically my whole game system for a full-fledged game. Once all the functionalities in this technology showcase are complete, everything will be ready for new game. New game will be large adventure with story on a large space station. With all the features from this technology showcase. New will have new maps and story.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“At the moment in this version 1.4.0.0, I have done approximately 70% of all things. In technology showcase are includes both modes, Engineer mode and also Policeman mode with weapons. Additional functionalities will be gradually added in next versions.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“This technology showcase will still be free.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I will be glad to receive more feedback from testing from players. On Steam discussion board on game page or on my steam group.”

About This Game

This game is a playable technology showcase that introduces game mechanics, in this VR project. This game (technology showcase) will serve as the basis of the VR game system for separate new game.
Game will be adventure game with a story, only single player.
A lot of game stuff like models, textures, sounds are from original game Space Engineers.

Player will playing with 2 characters alternately, one as Engineer and second as Policeman on space station.

The Engineer will mainly manually repair various devices. The Policeman will assist the Engineer and have weapons available to protect them from infected Engineers.

This technology showcase is created on Unreal Engine 4.

Compatibility of VR head sets: I'm doing it on Oculus Rift but it's also compatible with Vive (teleport).

Movement: In technology showcase is teleport and free movement. Free movement is still WIP. On Vive can be problem with free movement.
