「The goal of Early Access is to build the game together with the community. We are introducing several novel systems to gamers: a Tarot Card Skill System, a deterministic loot system that removes RNG, and the Eternity System, which addresses the “Stop killing games” dilemma. All of these systems are very new to gaming and will require working with the community to ensure the highest-quality experience at release.」

「Deadhaus Sonata is in early development. The first playable class will be the iconic Vampire, with a limited number of areas gamers can access and replay. There are approximately 4 hours of gameplay with a straight playthrough. Secret areas add another 2-3 hours of play, along with a 13-hour in-depth narrative, for players to enjoy. Areas are replayable. Significantly more content will be added as the game progresses through early access.」

「We are charging a small price for early access, and plan to make the game free-to-play upon release. During Early Access, we plan to gradually roll out new purchasable cosmetic items, whose price would increase at the time of full release.

「We plan to give Early Access players the opportunity to participate in balancing and system feedback.
  • Players can give their feedback at any time on our forums, on the Steam Community Hub, on Discord.
  • We plan to periodically conduct community surveys about which new features and improvements the community would like to see, and to publish anonymized results of these surveys, and use this data to inform our development plans.

Play alone or join up to six players in cooperative play as you face the living and uncover the secrets that shape this fallen realm.

Become the undead and step into the iconic role of the Vampire. Feed on the living to grow stronger, unlock supernatural abilities, and evolve through a progression path built around dominance and mastery. Other undead forms wait in the dark, ready to be revealed.

Deadhaus Sonata features a tarot-based skill system where every card represents arcane power shaped by Malorum’s forgotten history. Cards are earned through quests, battles, and exploration, and each one unlocks new abilities that can be mixed, matched, and upgraded.

Build for precision, raw power, mobility, tanking, or supernatural control. The tarot system gives you endless ways to refine your build and unleash devastating forces against the living.

Loot in Deadhaus Sonata is earned through feats that track your actions, history, and performance, not random drops. Every item is shaped by what you do.

Gear, artifacts, legendary items, and tarot cards all tie into Malorum’s supernatural and political history. Playing is crafting, and your past becomes a resource that influences your future.
