«Farmington County, at full version, will feature a living, breathing digital environment where farming is just the beginning. This probably sounds like hyperbole but I want to make a game that people will play and think... wow this is INSANE. I love it!

Some of my planned features:
- AI employees. Your workers can do a lot of the tasks on your farm and you can also have personal relationships with them.
- NPC relationships / romance. You will have a friendship / relationship status with NPCs which will affect actual gameplay or give you perks.
- A large, diverse map full of fun activities and discoveries.
- Seasons, which will affect farming, and will lead to new buildings and gameplay concepts.
- More ways to make money. Not just growing crops or selling lumber, but further refining your crops, investing in town businesses, selling at the farmer's market, etc.»

«Farmington County is currently a full-fledged farming simulator. You can grow thousands of crops and raise hundreds of animals at once with the help of a wide array of vehicles, and develop your farm using a free-form planting and building system. You can have a massive ranch with thousands of crops and hundreds of animals all growing at the same time, or a small, relaxing farm.»

«Farmington County will go up in price as it gets more features and content.»

Hvordan planlegger dere å involvere samfunnet i utviklingsprosessen?

«My main reason for putting Farmington County in Early Access is so that I can have feedback from the community. To this end, I have created a twitter account that people can readily communicate with, plus a public email address.

I plan to actively involve the community in the design of the game; whether it's voting on new features, how the game should be balanced, bug detection, what to focus on, and so forth.»
