Miksi Early Access?

We are introducing some new mechanics to the rhythm game genre and want to make sure we deliver a fun game before we fully release. There are a few different ways to tweak the mechanics and it's hard to tell exactly which one is the best or most beloved. We are also working out more licensing contracts to add more content and songs to the game. We feel like this is a game that could benefit a lot from community engagement for the development process to deliver an interesting world with great mechanics.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

2 months is our current estimate. If we can get the community support we need in establishing and polishing the features we have yet to incorporate we will probably do a Halloween full release.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

The full version will include:

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

We currently have a fun and playable game with over 20 songs! Only the free play game mode is available where you can basically play any of the available songs in order to achieve your highest score. The game has the core mechanics we wanted to implement and delivers an enjoyable experience with good replay value.

The cost of the game will increase at launch once all the features have been refined and implemented.

We really want to help the community grow in Facebook, Reddit, and Discord. We will give weekly updates on the development and on the suggestions we have decided to implement. We need your help with suggestions in music, mechanics, challenges, and any other way we can improve the game before launch.

The rhythm of the universe has been thrown off by a mysterious force. Portals are appearing all over the land, letting frustratingly cute creatures from other dimensions into our world. After many millennia of rest, Alfred must once more take up the mantle of Rhythm Mage and restore the rhythm of the universe. Only he is able to get the universe back in sync and close the portals once and for all!

Gameplay:

Touch the monsters with your wands to grab them.
Once a monster is attached to your wand shoot them into the correct portal -- matches their colour -- to earn points and build up your combo.
Fire a monster into the wrong portal and your combo will end. Fire to many wrong monsters into a portal and the portal will be destroyed!
Dodge the fire monsters at all costs! If they touch you your combo will end and you will take burn damage.

Collect the coloured crystals with your wands.
You can collect up to three of the same colour with each wand.
If you have collected 1 or more of a colour and then touch a different colour your wands powers will reset
(Example if you have 2 green on your left wand and touch a red item, the left wand will reset to 0 magical gems charged up.)
Press the X or A button to active that wands powers. The more gems you collected the more powerful that wands magic will be.

Gem colours:
- Yellow: Double score for a set amount of time
- Red: Summons flames from your wands, destroying all monsters that come in contact with the fire.
- Blue: Activates a shield that will block all red monsters from hurting you
- Purple: Activates a bubble that slows time for any monster that enters (Still needs balancing)
- Green: Brings back damaged portals (Not in the game yet)
