¿Por qué Acceso anticipado?

“I would like to have feedback from players and develop the game with inspiration from creative ideas on the forums. I think the game could benefit from community direction. If there is lack of input I also have a sense of my own direction for the game, but I hope to have some feedback. It's great to have a community and for people to be social around game development.”

¿Cuánto tiempo va a estar este juego en Acceso anticipado aproximadamente?

“5-6 years. This may be overestimating but I have another game in Early Access Program for 3 years, which will leave this game an estimated 2-3 years more after that one is out of EAP. The other game is simpler and this one is more complex so that's why this prioritization. I will be working on both simultaneously however.”

¿Qué tan diferente será la versión completa de la versión de Acceso anticipado?

“The full version will have more well-defined gameplay with points, scoring, goals and victory conditions and economical management typical of RTS. Graphics will probably remain very similar in the final product, perhaps with additional options for reduced hardware requirements and if it seems suitable then substituted 3D models.”

¿Cuál es el estado actual de la versión de Acceso anticipado?

“You can select units with rectangular select using left mouse button, and move units using right mouse button.
You can attack units (when their teams are different), using right mouse button (if there is a sword indicating that you can).
You can select units for placement and place units (with randomized team, at no resource cost) with left mouse button. Right click on map to deselect placement unit.
At this stage you may control all units from all teams ("AI" controlled teams come later).
Units from different teams attack each other automatically when within range.
You can mine resources.
Map movement is implemented with keyboard (WASD) and mouse on edge of screen (when side scroll setting on the right is enabled).
There is a minimap. You can select units via minimap (left mouse button) and you can click/drag using right mouse button to move camera location.
On the right is a settings menu to play with (it will be toggleable later).”

¿El precio del juego será diferente durante y después del Acceso anticipado?

“I intend to release the game most likely at the same price after Early Access, as it makes sense to not make it higher price based on what I now foresee to be the final content of the game, and the discount options will provide opportunities to lower the price at certain intervals to lower the barrier of entry after Early Access.

However, I want to keep options open for changing the price based on user interest and feedback and if my ambitions and capabilities for the game should change, so please don't take this guideline as a promise.”

¿Cómo tienes planeado involucrar a la comunidad en tu proceso de desarrollo?

“I intend to use the facilities that Steam provides, most importantly the discussion forum, to interact with users and read about their ideas and use their input as inspiration for what to implement.”
