Avalo Legends

Avalo Legends is a first person melee (FPM) multiplayer game. Located in the distant galaxy of Iska, it’s a frantic melee match which takes place in the stadium of the capital of the galaxy, Khot. Choose one of the different champions available and fight in wild battles for an absolute victory.

Miksi Early Access?

We want to launch the game under Early Access to gather feedback from the community and build the best game experience possible.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

The game will stay in Early Access for about 6 months.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

The final game will have all the features of the early access plus a more balanced and polished experience, extra arenas and extra characters.

At least one additional mode will be added:

Capture the Flag: Game mode focused on getting and keeping, for as long as possible, a capsule located in the center of the map.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

The game is in an ALPHA and early access state right now, however the gameplay mechanics have been implemented to an advanced stage, and the character designs and character mechanics that are already present in the game are considered final for those characters. There is room for improvement based on feedback. Now where the 'early' keyword really matters is in quantity of content and player progression as well as polishing of systems such as UI and visual feedback.

The game currently features two different game modes:

Arena: Focused on combats between players, where fighting against your opponents is the only way to reach victory.
Domain: Where the objective is to capture a series of control points spread across the stage.

And three champions to play as:

Kilian: A savage werewolf with a powerful axe.
Kaie: The quick assassin armed with her chakrams.
Orzok: An amphibian creature with stealth abilities.

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

No. Avalo Legends is a free product to showcase the abilities of the development team as game developers.

Miten yhteisö otetaan mukaan kehitysprosessiin?

We will gather feedback from the community directly from the Steam page, and also from our social networks, and incorporate that feedback into the final product, specially in terms of how the game feels and plays.

The greatest tournament in the galaxy opens its doors once more. Avalo, located in the distant galaxy of Ishka, is a frantic melee match that takes place in Khot, the capital of the galaxy and a technologically advanced city with a unique coliseum in the world.

Each of the champions available have a specific skill, adding a strategic component to the game. Embody one of the characters that have reached the tournament finals, discover its skills and participate in two different game modes:

Arena: Focused on combats between players, where fighting against your opponents is the only way to reach victory.
Domain: Where the objective is to capture a series of control points spread across the stage.

In short, Avalo Legends is a first person melee (FPM) multiplayer game for PC and for 2 to 4 players on split screen. The game showcases graphical prowess as well as a good visual polish, and has been developed with Unreal Engine.

Avalo Legends is a student showcase project from ESAT Valencia.
