Proč předběžný přístup?

„Hold Your Ground is currently under Early access because of the unfinished state of the game. This game is a project between three friends that work on this game in their free time - and we plan to keep on updating and polishing the game that we have been working on for a while now.“

Přibližně jak dlouho bude tato hra v předběžném přístupu?

„We plan on keeping Hold Your Ground in Early access until we are comfortable with a full release, it will be likely to be at least a year before we feel that way about the game. We feel like Labeling it as early access helps prime the user to understand that we aren't done with the game yet. We plan on listening closely to our community and tweaking and adjusting things based off of their feedback.“

Jak se bude plná verze lišit od předběžného přístupu?

„The game is at a very malleable stage at the moment, so we plan on forming into whatever the community likes about it, and amplifying the pros, and getting rid of the cons. Of course the main gameplay will remain as an archery defense VR game, but the details and game mechanics are flexible. WE would like to better polish the environment, add more enemies, add different types of arrows, have some more AI implementation, and to really get the bow to feel more real.“

V jaké fázi vývoje se hra nachází?

„The Current Early Access version is a working prototype - that we consider a Beta. The game currently features wave based archery defense atop the castle walls with one type of bow/ammunition, against 3 enemy types that gradually spawn and move faster as each round ends. The gameplay continues until 4 enemies have reached the treasure chest in the castle and returned to the red banner in the distant field. The enemies are a free asset at the moment, but we plan on changing that as soon as possible. The environment looks ok, but we would like to fully flesh out the castle as well as add more flavor to the environment.“

Změní se cena hry po skončení předběžného přístupu?

„We are considering the possibility of charging for the game once it has hit full release depending on the team's assessment of features by the end of Early Access. As of right now, the team is leaning towards not changing the price after Early Access. We aren't trying to rope people along with a game that will never be finished, because we plan on getting it to a full release without charging for it.“

Jak plánujete zapojit komunitu do vývoje této hry?

„We are in need of constructive feedback, so we are planning on listening to the community very closely and weighing our decisions based off of the initial reactions to the new features and current game features that our user base voices. We value the opinions of our user base, and plan on being very open about the development of our game with them. The best way to contact us will be through the Steam Discussions board, since we don't have an organizational email, we will be actively monitoring the board for feedback!“
