Old Town, 1927. Ignithium technology has caused a huge leap leading to the dawn of war robots. In a city of smuggling and crime, Rose, an upper class girl, joins the Irish mafia to fight off Rusty Jack's robotic mafia, using advanced weapons in a frantic adventure to write her story in Old Town.

Miksi Early Access?

We want to launch the game under Early Access to gather feedback from the community and build the best game experience possible.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

The game will stay in Early Access for about 6 months.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

The final game will have all the features of the early access plus a more balanced and polished experience, extra levels, extended story and a broader selection of weaponry.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

The game is in an ALPHA and early access state, however, it is playable from start to finish and the gameplay mechanics have already been polished. There is room for improvement based on feedback. Now where the 'early' keyword really matters, is in quantity of content and player progression as well as polishing of systems such as UI and visual feedback.

Old Town Stories is already offering players a frantic experience spreading along different levels. The game is a VR first person shooter where the player faces an army of steampunk robots in a fictional alternate setting during the American Prohibition era using bespoke weaponry fueled by a mysterious energy source. The game features:

An intriguing alternate history setting of the 1920s with a fully voiced original story.
Original weapons fueled by a powerful mysterious material.
A shielding mechanic where players can protect themselves from enemy fire while building a counter-attack.
A classic VR teleporting locomotion system for maximum comfort.
Highly detailed locations inspired by classic 1920s America.

No. Old Town Stories is a free product to showcase the abilities of the development team as game developers.

We will gather feedback from the community directly from the Steam page, and also from our social networks, and incorporate that feedback into the final product, specially in terms of how the game feels and plays.

We are in Old Town, a fictional city on the United States of America in the 1920's. The discovery of a new fuel (Ignithium) caused a huge boost on technological research and development, consequently leading to the creation of war robots and advanced industrial technology.

The commercialization of Ignithium and the introduction of the prohibition on society have produced an atmosphere of war between gangs, clandestine parties and street brawls.

Rose, an upper class young girl, is not willing to miss any of this. As Rose, the player will join the Irish mafia and fight off Rusty Jack's robotic mafia, making use of advanced techonology and weaponry in a frantic adventure to write her story in Old Town.
