“We have plans to add more insects, as well as rodents, reptiles and e.t.c. We are also working on a weather system. We are hoping to create an immersive simulation game based on the lives on insects and small animals. Your feedback from our early access release will help to shape the future of Insect Simulator. We have yet to decide whether to implement a story mode. Online multiplayer is also being considered.



All aspects of the game are currently subject to change.”

“In it's current state there are two available insects to play. There is also currently no mating system in the game, and AI interaction is limited at this time. There is currently an XP system in place as well as compass and landmarks which may contribute to a future story mode (undecided)


Every aspect of the game is subject to change, the game is currently in a pre-alpha state. You can expect everything from character movement to map layout and environment to change and improve.”

Insect Simulator allows you to view the world through the eyes of an insect of your choice. You will need to find your own way to survive and thrive through whatever conditions arise. You may choose to populate anywhere from a family home to an abandoned tree stump. The choice is yours. Your survival may depend on your choices.

Early Access:
-Fully function XP and leveling system with both in-game and Steam Achievements
-Seeking food in order to survive
-Hunting larger prey (Goliath Bird Eater)
-24 hour cycle with days and time passed
-Two characters to choose from: Goliath Bird Eating Spider + Fire Ant
-Separate save games for each character
