Varför Early Access?

“This game is in very early stages of development. It would be a tremendous help to me to have players stress test and provide feedback. I have a lot of big ideas, but without your input my direction setting is arbitrary.”

Ungefär hur länge kommer det här spelet att vara i Early Access?

“Even when the game leaves early access, I hope to be actively developing new features. Early access provides an opportunity to be transparent with you all about the state of the game while I fix bugs, and solve performance & scaling problems. I expect early access to last no longer than a year, but for that to just be the start.”

Hur är det tänkt att den fullständiga versionen ska skilja sig från versionen i Early Access?

“I would love to have multiple types of game modes, I have some ambitious ideas for both team-based competitive game modes and single player (offline) modes. I would love to expand further on the idea of building a full-fledged MMO around the core experience of a word game: parties, guilds, and raid battles. It's not clear what these things might look like, but I hope to find out!”

Hur är det nuvarande läget i versionen med Early Access?

“Players can create and play on their own boards, both public and private. Boards can be timed or run indefinitely and keep track of player stats. Quests can be completed to earn gold to swap tiles from your tray for new tiles. There's a beta version of a team game mode, where teams compete for control of the board.

The UI and graphics are both very much works-in-progress.”

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“I expect the price will increase after early access has ended, as more content/features are added and the experience becomes more refined.”

Hur planerar ni att involvera gemenskapen i er utvecklingsprocess?

“There are many directions I would like to take the game, but it's meaningless without the support of a community. I'm not sure what the best platform will be for feedback but you can always email me directly at: feedback@spellingquest.online or use the Steam community group.”
