What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“It is quite unpolished, as it is my first game, and I would like for the community to understand that I will continue to work on it even after I release it.
I very much wish for this game to be successful, and as such I will put much time and effort into making it successful. I currently do not have many resources at my disposal, and as I progress I wish to expand upon that.
I certainly promise to see the development of this game through to many updates, and I wish in every aspect to make a game that I can truly call a game and not some primitive alpha.
I very much look forward to working on this with the assistance of the community and (ideally) building a small team to continue development.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“It's hard to say, but I hope I can have it to a proper state (i.e. include everything I wish for it to) by the end of the summer of 2020.
This is not a promise, it is merely something I wish for.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Ideally, I would add features such as hidden tapes to help uncover the story, additionally, I will add something of a boss fight.
I intend to add many details, I wish to add a balanced upgrade system that allows for players to upgrade at a slightly slower rate than the robots to allow for skill to slowly grow in need as one continues through the waves.
I wish to add a system in which the robots quickly gain more powerful weapons and armaments as well as physical boosts depending on the weapon they have. (i.e. an AI with a melee weapon will move faster, and this movement speed will increase as the players progress through the waves.)”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“You fend off an endless wave of robots with a limited amount of weapons while exploring a small map of buildings and alleyways. I have implemented a small number of player upgrades which can boost agility or damage as well as allow the player to unlock new weapons.
I have implemented a multiplayer (Which is really rough) but it should allow players to connect with one another.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“After early access, the price will most likely increase as it would be more polished and more presentable as a full-scale game. What I will price it at that time is something I will have to decide as the game and community grow.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I wish for as many bugs and glitches to be reported as possible, I will do my best to respond accordingly and fix as many issues ASAP. Also, if there is a minor feature that is requested enough I very well may be inclined to add it if I deem it to be something that would not break the game in any way.

About This Game

This game depicts the post-apocalyptic world wrought out by a war among humanity. The only remnants are machines mass fabricated during the war which were designed for fighting. You are one of the sole survivors meant to wrought out the remaining robots left in the world, the only problem is that for every hostile you kill, two more respond and reinforce their army. How far can you make it?

Gameplay-
You will have to fend off a single, increasing, wave of robots and you have to keep up to pace in an arms race of sheer numbers versus (you) strategy and skill as you level yourself up using the scrap metal that you salvage from surrounding robots you have killed off. You will have to make sure your upgrades are balanced and well placed such that you can properly fend off the hoards of enemies.

Mature Content Description

The developers describe the content like this:

There will be weapons used against robots. Eventually, there may be more gruesome scenes but as of yet nothing too bad.
