'We want the community’s help optimizing and fine-tuning the core campaign and mission-mode experience before releasing the full game; which will include 5 heroes to progress, a 4 part-campaign, boss fights, and endlessly replayable multiplayer co-op missions. Since the gameplay in Wardens Rising is a totally unique mix of ARPG (twin-stick) shooter and base-defense build strategy including towers, traps, walls, portals and other novel mechanics and systems, we really want to optimize the game’s features and content alongside the Early Access community.

With the community’s help and through a series of Early Access content releases, we hope to achieve our goal of delivering a truly unique, exhilarating and heroic ARPG shooter experience that will challenge players’ skill, determination, and strategic thinking. With each update we will introduce new content as well as gather and discuss feedback with the community. Your support during Early Access will not only help us refine the game for its final release; but will also help us plan our post-launch game expansion content which may include new heroes, gear, maps, enemies, games modes and more.

We hope fans of games like Helldivers, Orcs Must Die, Dungeon Defenders, Riftbreaker, X-Morph Defense, twin-stick shooters, ARPGs, tower defense games and MOBAs will join us in this brief and exciting Early Access phase of development.

'Our goal is for this period to be relatively short, with the launch of the full game across PC and console platforms in 2025. We plan to release a series of substantial content updates to the Early Access community over the next 4-6 months and then release the final game.'

'The Early Access version of Wardens Rising will have all the core features of the full game, only with less content. Our plan is to release new content throughout Early Access as we optimize features and content with the community. The full version of the game will offer a choice of 5 heroes, a 4-part campaign defending cores all across the world and defeating each region’s Warchief (boss fights), a wide variety of mission-mode (coop) maps with cores to protect from repeated invasions, and every tower, DefTech (e.g. traps, walls, portals and more), SPEC (battle companions), hero perk and hero talent available.'

'The Early Access version of the game with provide a taste of the solo campaign and multiplayer mission mode experience; featuring a choice of 4 heroes with skill progression trees, the first part of the campaign defeating multiple invasions on 6 maps in the Fearless Forest including a showdown with the Warchief (Boss) + 3 maps from the Glacial Wastes region. The Early Access version will also offer 5 mission-mode maps, where up to 4 players (co-op), build defenses together and battle a new massive invasion every time for endless fun. We plan to make many updates to campaign and mission mode content as well as the mission-mode features to ensure this endlessly replayable experience is a ton of fun.'

Since the core gameplay in Wardens Rising is quite unique, where players progress through a series of build and fight phases before defeating invasions on all of the world’s vital Synthesis energy cores, we want to engage the community throughout and with every release of content to get feedback on the game flow, content, replayability, features and more. Gaining critical insights from players will be a key factor in how we optimize the game experience and refine content in preparation for launch. This goes hand in hand with our desire to foster a healthy and engaged community, both here and in our other platforms like Discord and our social channels.'
