All Systems Go!

Finally time to hit that big green button. Thank you all for your patience, the weather today looks perfect for a launch. All systems GO at 12 EST sharp.

I will be very much around over the next few days, so please come say hello in the Discussion Boards. Post your strategies, piece together secrets, form rivalries, and be excellent to each other. I will be listening to and considering feedback as I race off to beef up current features, respond to bug reports, and finalize the October 1st update, "A Rift in Reality".

Strap yourselves in, it's gonna be a fun ride.

Launch Delay

If you're reading this you were probably hoping to get your hands on RASHLANDER today. And boy do I want to hand it over. I had to make a tough call yesterday and decided to push the launch date back to August 6th.

There are a bunch of reasons for this but essentially they all boil down to "Ship Quality", "Don't Crunch", and "Listen to Good Advice".

Come back to the launch pad when the weather's better and I promise you a great show. I can't wait to let you all play.

See you in a few days!

“Gravity and inertia are important tools and potential threats, as there’s a basic Newtonian physics system, making navigation tricky and rewarding.”

About This Game

RASHLANDER is a lunar lander roguelike that feels like spinning across an icy road and nailing a perfect parallel park.

Combining the of Arcade Classics like Asteroids and Lunar Lander with design from games like Downwell and Spelunky, RASHLANDER merges the simplicity of the arcade with the magic of a modern roguelike.

The procedurally generated levels encourage players to build ability instead of memorizing patterns, creating real challenge and truly triumphant wins. Discover a dense network of game-changing upgrade systems and life-giving fuel stations—all while attempting to achieve the highest score in this skill-based, physics-stuffed tribute to the golden era of arcades.

Skillfully slingshot around levels—dodging interstellar debris, scraping past gravity-heavy asteroids, and avoiding GovCorp drones—to successfully crash-land onto the goal-marked warp pads. You’ll want to land your ship feet-first, though; unless you’re a fan of incinerating your entire crew in super-explodey collisions.

FEATURES

  • Heart Thumping Soundtrack: Synthesized, beat-heavy bops by Fat Bard, whose prior compositions appear in work for Disney, WB Games, and Butterscotch Shenanigans.
