„Astrogun is the independent video games design, development, and publishing company of Xander Davis, self-funded and deliberately lean. VAST is our first game, almost all work on VAST is done by Davis with modular contractors as needs arise, and VAST releases content episodically. Under this sustainable model, we are able to develop VAST towards completion while including real customers worldwide with Early Access, establishing actual gameplay feedback and acting on that feedback, and building our community as we continuously build and improve our game's content, features, quality, and value.“

„The game will remain in Early Access as we continuously develop, expand, and polish it. When to exit Early Access will be a decision we make in the future based on arriving at a self-evident, satisfactory point for us across content length, features, and quality. With our current development schedule, we are planning on being in Early Access for at least the next year or till Spring 2020.“

„The full version will include the first Campaign completed with all episodes, a feature set that fulfills our gameplay and platform goals, and may also include bonus content.“

Относно тази игра

VAST™ is an anime-flavored sci-fantasy action adventure first person shooter about a misfit team of cosmic treasure hunters, in way over their heads! Join the Aces High Gang aboard their starship captained by cat Michu, piloted by hot-shot jockey Yori, guided by exo-archeologist Jasper, and protected by security cyborg and player character Enzo.

VAST™ combines JRPG elements with the FPS genre to create a unique and fresh hybrid game. A colorful cast of fun characters and enemies fill sprawling non-linear level designs to encourage exploration and adventure. Twisting and explosive enemy deaths leave behind ammo for multiple arm cannon weapon types. Voice-acted character dialogue and terminals of text and image provide an even deeper layer of discovery, and episodes are driven by mystery towards finding cosmic treasure before hordes of alien enemies can first!

Campaign Levels are released Episodically over time as free updates. Campaign "The Frozen Star" Episode 1 "The Star on No Map" is now included!
