Why Early Access?

“Early Access will allow us to release the game in a comfy chapter-based format whilst collecting valuable feedback from the community on important gameplay mechanics. Each chapter contains substantial gameplay, quests, cutscenes, and lewd content to progress your adventure.

For this reason, we want to make sure that each chapter is in a state of high quality upon release. As such, we may not update as often as other early access games, but our updates will contain a lot of thoroughly polished content.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We anticipate remaining in Early Access for a minimum of 12 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We aim to complete all of the story chapters of Subverse. The quality of the lewd scenes will not be too different because we are aiming for polished chapter-based releases, but the gameplay balancing will change based on community feedback gathered throughout Early Access.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“This will be a highly polished, bite-sized piece of the game. It will include fully mastered voiceover, sound effects, cinematics and lewd scenes. You will be able to experience the full opening act of the main story, consisting of six chapters. We love what Larian did with Baldur’s Gate 3, and we are looking to emulate their release strategy by adding substantial sections of polished content with each update as it becomes available.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The game will be priced lower during Early Access until release where the price will increase.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We have one of the most vocal and passionate communities around and they will form a key part of Subverse’s development. This is our first foray into video games, so we are going to be leaning heavily on the community to help us balance the combat and the overall experience. Your feedback will be integral in improving the game with each chapter’s release, eventually culminating in a product of which the FOW Army can be proud.”
