What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“To involve the community as early as possible in the development process. I understand that each player of Creo has ideas and input, and by giving each player the ability to contribute to the growth of this game, I'm certain that Creo God Simulator will be able to profit tremendously.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

Around 6 - 12 months. Admittedly, Creo God Simulator has very lofty quality and content goals, and therefore, we chose to make sure that the game is made to the very highest quality and entertainment standards. Keep in mind that design, art, and programming wise, I am a one-man team. I'd love to be able to give you the game that I see in my mind, but it will certainly take time if we want it to be the God game we all want.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Keeping in mind that specific guarantees can't be made (though I would love to make them), these are some of the exciting additions that I plan to add in the future:

  • A lore-rich story and characters
  • A variety of new buildings/jobs
  • Giant monsters/goliaths
  • Procedurally generated orc and goblin villages
  • Languange localization and a Mac build
  • And a whole bunch of new god powers, quests, and events!

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current state of Creo God Simulator is core gameplay-system complete, that is, the major game engine parts (randomization, building, quests, and power) are finished. This does not remove the possibility that additional gameplay systems may be added. Creo is currently stable, though, with every update, there is the possibility of bugs and errors. I pride myself on how quickly I can patch errors and bugs, so if you discover any, please let me know!”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

No. The price of Creo God Simulator will remain what it currently is. I'm keeping it at this price in order to keep the game affordable and accessible. To be quite honest, if you purchase the game, I feel personally responsible to provide the best experience possible, and as long as I can afford to work on the game, I will.

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The community will be involved in providing content suggestions, feedback, and helping us find bugs. So far, our community over on Discord has been instrumental in the current status and progress of Creo God Simulator, and I'm certain this will hold true for the future.”

Version 0.2 | Tech Tree is Here!

Good evening God Game Fans! Esteban here, and I'm happy to say that version 0.2 of Creo God Simulator is now available, and your game should auto-update! With the new version, the tech tree is finally available, which means that you actually have to work to unlock new buildings!

This new tech system still needs a fair-share of balancing of tweaking, so I ask you all, please join our Discord server, and let me know your thoughts!
(Discord link here:

As you can see, I'm still hard at work adding in the rest of the technologies and buildings, but it seems to be taking longer than I thought to integrate all of the new systems. I also think giving you access to the technologies early on will allow me to refine them over time. I will also try to add in a few new things soon, such as coding in the raiding parties and adding animals to the game.

Let me know what you think about the new update, either on here or on our Discord. And please, if you have any questions or suggestions, let me know!

Inspiration Update - 22 New Techs, 11 New Buildings

- Click Here for a video of the new UI in action -

Happy Sunday everyone! I just wanted to give you all a brief update on the progress of Creo's new tech/inspiration system. I managed to get the back-end code successfully created, so now all I need to do is simply add in the new technologies and respective buildings.

And this is where it gets interesting...

I didn't take into account just how large this new tech-tree system was going to be. To give you all some perspective, let me break down how long it takes to add a new technology with a respective new building:

  • 1 Hour - Creating new building's 3D model on Blender 3D
  • 15 Minutes - Creating new UI icon
  • 20 Minutes - Adding in new tech to the tech tree/hooking up the code to work
  • 40 Minutes - Hook up new building's code with save/load and other scripts
  • 15 Minutes - Playtest new building and new tech to remove major bugs

  • TOTAL - 2 Hours 30 Minutes

Keep in mind that this is just for one new technology and the corresponding new building. Some of the tech's do not have new buildings, but rather, entirely new systems or functions, such as adding buffs to your units or improving manufacturing rates.

I will try my best to get these new techs and buildings created, but I do ask for your patience while I am creating this new and exciting system. I'm confident that it will improve the gameplay of Creo, and that it will add much more addiction to the game.

Have any questions? Let me know in the comments or in our discussions—I'd love to talk!

About This Game

Creo God Simulator is a game of building, decision-making, survival, and a ton of peasant smiting. As a newly-assigned lesser god, it's your job to build a society bit by bit, while convincing your new population to believe in you as their one true god.

During your time as a god, you will discover new powers to use and more advanced buildings to place, but beware, as you progress, the randomized events generated by the AI enemy gods become more difficult. Can you beat the enemy gods and prove yourself as the one true God, or will you slowly fade from the memory of the people you created?

With God Powers come God Responsibilities

In Creo God Simulator, you are the god. You are given incredible power to build great cities and smite the lowliest peasant. Here are some of the features regarding your newly-found godhood:

  • Name your Religion and God Name
  • Faith/Fear System: Your actions affect your follower's opinions of you
  • Awesome God Powers: Meteors, lightning, the power's in your hands
  • Town villagers have the ability to convert each other without your influence or approval (just like in the real world!)

Build a Great Civilization

Creo's unique build system allows you to place buildings in any position you want. Do you want a new shopping center? Go for it! Or perhaps a ghetto surrounding your mines? With Creo's build system, your imagination is the limit!

  • Free-form building placement
  • A variety of building types and models
  • Creo-specific architecture style

A New Gaming Experience—Every Time You Play

Creo God Simulator boasts a procedurally generated world, quests, and events! No two playthroughs will ever be the same. Things could be going smoothly for your town, when suddenly, a raiding party attacks, while a volcano erupts, and locusts swarms descend upon your farms—this is just one example of the limitless stories that you can experience in Creo.

  • Procedurally-generated maps, quests, and game events
  • A wide variety of quest types and solutions
  • Villagers have unique names, beliefs, and opinions
