Why Early Access?

“Fighting games are very design-intensive. In fighting games today, balance patches and content updates are expected. Players are constantly thinking about the metagame, and the game can become more or less fun as a result. With that in mind, I must try to make a game that can be enjoyed by as many people as possible. Exposing this game to the Steam community during development will allow me to gain better quality information and feedback to make the game as good as I can make it.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“At most, it may be in early access for three years. It may be much shorter, depending on circumstances.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to extra modes will be added, minor graphical elements will be adjusted, English text will be more comprehensive, and of course, there will be more characters and tweaked balance. The final release version will be a fully featured and polished modern fighting game.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“As of April 2019, there are 26 playable characters out of a planned 32 characters. You can play arcade mode, practice in training mode, read a work in progress story,”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“After the early access period, the game will continue to be free forever.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Fighting games are a complex and competitive genre. Because of this, communication with passionate players is necessary. Clever players can discover tricks and combos that were never considered during the design process. Discussions in forums and on social media will be closely monitored, and every voice will be taken into consideration. I frequently play online for testing, though those sessions may be limited to Japanese players to avoid excessive lag. If you stream the game, I will be likely to watch the archive to gauge your impressions.”
