Why Early Access?

“VERDURE is a niche and unconventional project. I’m building it openly so it can evolve through experimentation, without committing years of development at once to something that may not easily find its audience. It is shaped through iterative updates rather than a fixed master plan. With handcrafted music and art style, VERDURE already has its own identity, and Early Access gives me the freedom to refine and expand it at a sustainable pace.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“This game is expected to be in Early Access for several months of improvements and optimizations. This timeframe may be adjusted based on player feedback and the results of ongoing testing.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will remain a creative sandbox. Additional decorative options (such as backgrounds and pots) are planned, along with extra recipe settings, music, and various small surprises to discover. The goal is to broaden creative possibilities while keeping the space playful and inviting.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“VERDURE already offers its core experience: players can grow and shape plants, adjust many recipe settings, and save their creations to a personal collection. There is also a small tutorial, bonus ways to influence growth, and a progression system (modeled on idle/incremental games) to unlock tools and decors one by one.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The base price may increase as more content and features are introduced.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Feedback will be gathered via Steam discussion boards and official support channel. Regular updates will be shared, and player suggestions can guide development throughout Early Access.”
