Long ago, the Dark God and its monstrous vassals ravaged the world, pushing humankind to the brink. The goddess bestowed divine power upon three heroes—the Guardians—who sealed the Dark God and restored peace.

Ages passed. As technology and magic advanced, the Guardians faded from memory.

Then, a sudden imperial regicide. In retaliation, the Ruzeroa Empire marches, wielding the long-lost power of the Guardians alongside modern engines of war, igniting a brutal campaign to unite the continent.

And in that maelstrom… the story of Arzes, a young mercenary captain, begins.
