Zulu Response - WisKids
New month so it must be time for a brief update on progress:
  • Alot of time has been spent on the development of the Mbilini map, it is progressing well such preliminary testing will begin shortly
  • Men of Harlech which made for good entertainment in the movie Zulu has been added to the game. As the Zulu players receive a benefit from ordering their warriors to sound a chant at the British, conversely we've now given a means whereby the British player can restore their AI's tiredness through increased morale
  • Numerous tweaks and adjustments made to the Rorkes Drift map across the various game modes, alot of sound adjustments
Other Stuff
In terms of the overall game development some of you will be aware that we have maps and gameplay based off the battles at Isandlwana, Fugitives Drift, Hlobane and Intombe River.

No we don't have to develop those from scratch. Most of the work has already been done. The maps are at a position whereby we'll update them to include the tweaks, feedback and adjustments once we've bedded in and released Rorkes Drift and Mblini in EA.

Inevitability - Sfs Studios
Hey friends the 1.10.6 update just came out today that fixed some bugs that people where having with negative mineral counts. Some other bugs that I found hiding also got squished.

First of all I have big news for us as a company. Our second game has just gone up on Greenlight! Now wait, do not jump ship and panic thinking "this means that this is the end of Inevitability". Our new game has been in development for the past year and a half so it has already been happening alongside Inevitability as they both use parts of an game engine that we built. You can read about how that whole process all worked with Inevitability on a rant I did on Reddit awhile back if you are interested.

Now for some Inevitability news! The 1.11/1.12 updates are planned to come out early-mid April and has some really cool new stuff in it such as the long awaited randomly generated side quests. Along with this the enemy ship AI is getting a massive overhaul, The reason for that is something exciting... An arena mode!
Ships in the 1.12 update will function as Steam workshop items that you can download from the community page and pit them against each other to see who has designed the best ship.
We have some fun competitions and battle live-streams planned with this and some really cool prizes to give out to the best ship makers.

See you guys soon, I think it is Inevitable ;) !

Collider - Binary Cocoa
We're working hard to get the finishing touches, but should have the release out shortly. We can't express enough how happy we are to have such a great community and are pleased to announce that the initial release will support Windows, Mac, and Linux/SteamOS . We look forward to hearing feedback and improving Collider. After the dust has settled from the release, we'll be sure to make another announcement about the future of the game and what other plans we have.
