As an apology for yesterday's extended downtime, we've increased the rate of experience gain this weekend by a bonus 50%! You'll 1.5x normal XP rate for this weekend from enemies (including bosses, excluding orbs and mission rewards).

We've also increased the rate of special item find by a bonus 50%, giving you a better chance to find heroes and costumes!

These bonuses will be removed on Monday, June 24th at 12PM PDT (3PM EDT, 7PM UTC, 8PM BST, 9PM CEST).

Hello everyone,

Today is a big day for everyone on the Marvel Heroes team! We’re in the process of getting ready to put the game live, but it’s going slower than we hoped.

Late last week, we found some serious issues that we felt we could not launch the game with. The entire Marvel Heroes team has been working for the last 96 hours straight to get the game ready. This process is nearly complete and ask for your patience.

We always want to find these types of potential errors, so we’re glad we had the opportunity to fix them in advance of launch.

We will not leave this studio until you can play the game. We hope this will be in a matter of hours.

For those who purchased Ultimate Packs, we’re working to get the game up and running as soon as possible. We’ll issue updates here as we get them.

Hey everyone, we jumped the gun a bit with our Steam release today - we know the client isn't available yet.

We <i>are</i> hosting an Open Beta Weekend this weekend (May 10th to 13th) and you will be able to get the game client from here on Steam later in the week to play in Open Beta.
