Check out the latest content arriving December 10!

Death From Above
Machina is a member of the Dromaji race. Her village is nearly wiped out by a meteorite that carries a debilitating poison. Survivors are being treated with varying medicines and given prosthetic limbs where necessary. Machina has a mechanical right arm, but still needs medical help. She’s on her way for more treatment when the airship she’s riding on suddenly crashes! Stranded in Ironwood Village, she attempts to find her missing friends from the airship and becomes involved with the locals of Altera.

The Power of Steam
Machina learns the art of Steampunch from one of the locals. Using her mechanical arm (called a Knuckle) as well as a Claw, she can deliver brutal melee attacks. She relies mostly on Agility and Vitality, and can get up close to land quick and deadly blows before dancing away.

By fiercely attacking enemies with her Knuckle, Machina generates “Steam”. Once this resource is full, she can utilize it to pull off fast-paced combo attacks. As Machina grows and develops her skills, she can advance to a Patrona focusing the destructive power of her arm to wreak havoc on her enemies. Later she can choose to specialize in offense as a Ruina, or to concentrate on defense as a Defensio.

Dragon Nest - NxA_OneLetter

Feel the fury of the Red Dragon with this new Lv. 80 dungeon! Pether, once thought to have lost the source of his power, has returned stronger than ever. By ripping a hole in the fabric of space-time, he has re-created the nest of Rajuul on the island of Ravea. You must venture to the far side of the continent, enter the nest, and destroy Pether once and for all!

In the first stage, you take on Flame Lord Barbatos – the King of Dragons. He delivers a Sky Drop attack that absorbs your energy! He also summons multiple dragons to his defense. Jump quickly to stay on your feet! At certain percentages, he sets the floor aflame, and you must be quick to escape the flames.

Then you must face down Monarch of Pain Crudelis, who attacks with a mix of fire and ice. Beware his Fire Tornadoes and deadly Flame Rush! Heat is not the only danger as he also possesses fearsome Ice Spikes and an Ice Field. At certain percentages, you must destroy his spawns to escape certain death!

In the second stage, you face Guardian of Flames Nouvelle. He has a deadly Rush Attack, and attacks with spears in addition to fire. He is also not alone, as he summons three flame statues to fight beside him!

In the third stage, you enter the Hyper Dynamo Core. Controlled by Jasmine, it can release a devastating Laser Attack, as well as fire missiles! At certain percentages, you must also prevent the core from exploding!

In the fourth stage, you encounter Immortal Knight Tacitus. He delivers powerful Flame Sword Attacks, and also has the ability to teleport in order to attack you quickly! At certain percentages, you must prevent him from absorbing lava into his blade. As he nears his demise, you will have to work hard to dodge his attacks.

In the final stage, you face the Black Dragon’s Phantom, who is armed with Fire Tornadoes and deadly Black Dragon Breaths. His Claw Stomps can take you down, and he also possesses the ability to confuse you.

Dragon Nest - pdilly
A Fire in the Darkness
The Avenger is a twisted version of the regular Warrior character class. The son of a famous warrior and Dragon Cultist, the Avenger is obsessed with gaining great power in order to prove his worthiness to his father. In his mad desire for power, he turned to the darkness and it has enveloped him. Slowly, the darkness consumes his mind and body, even while he has attained the great power which he sought. The Avenger must face his own shadow, an evil twin created from his nightmares. Only by defeating him, can the Avenger unlock the specialization of Dark Avenger, a true master of the darkness.

The Dark Avenger is the first Hero class to come to Altera. If you have an existing Level 80 character, you can create a Level 60 Avenger class character. Otherwise, your Avenger class character will start at Level 1. The Avenger becomes a Dark Avenger at Level 50 and can reach the Level 80 cap.

Fiery Skills
The Dark Avenger’s specialty is creating deadly combo attacks by using his fire blades. He relies mostly on Strength and Agility, and his medium- and long-range attacks deal significant damage to enemies while keeping him out of most enemy range. With the addition of high movement speed, the Dark Avenger can easily slip into position, deal maximum damage, and get out before the enemy knows what hit them.

By using his skills as an Avenger against enemy monsters, he generates and stores up “Fury”. Once this resource is full, he can utilize it to transform into a full-power Dark Avenger. In this state, all skill cooldowns are halved and his main skills are enhanced. However, the transformation only lasts as long as there is “Fury”. Once this resource runs dry, the Avenger must continue to attack enemies to gain more.
