“Lots there for fans of VHS flickering and garish colours. It’s inspired by Twin Peaks, Zelda and Monkey Island, says Madrid-based creator Jacob Jazz, which is an odd soup to bring to the boil. There’s a flavour of Undertale and Space Funeral to it as well, of course, but I don’t know if that’s the developer’s intention. It also features “psychedelic Russian surf music” and the turn-based combat includes the option to “Spit”, so that’s a plus.”

Welcome to Flamingos Creek, the ghostly town which only appears each 25 years in Albatros Road. A town that only appears in nightmares!
