Why Early Access?

“There is no in-VR navigation yet; to enter VR you must navigate to a WebXR site and click the Enter WebXR button on it.

For the full version we would like the experience to auto-launch into VR for an immersive launching experience.”

“About 2 months while we make an in-VR navigation launcher.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will launch into VR, where you will be able to navigate in-VR to the site you want.

The early access version opens up the browser and you must navigate to a site in the 2D before entering VR.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The early access version of this application allows you to browse the web and view WebXR content without having to leave the application you are currently running in VR.

You can run WebXR content alongside the virtual environment you are already in. Use Metachromium run WebXR content from the web, like an AR layer on any SteamVR virtual environments and alongside other overlay apps.

The early access version includes all of the WebXR overlay technology of the final version. You can navigate to a site and enter WebXR.

The only thing missing from the early access version is that there is no in-VR UI to do the initial navigation.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No, both are free.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The community will actively helping us test the in-VR navigation UI before we release it in the full version.”
