Why Early Access?

  • Visions of Zosimos has reached the point where we feel the core of the game is firmly in place and ready for a larger scale audience.
  • Ever since we began development, VoZ has benefited greatly from the feedback of the people who have seen and played the game. Steam Early Access allows us to open our product up to a wider audience of dedicated gamers.
  • We have a plan to bring VoZ from it’s current core state into a fully-featured game, but there is still a lot of work ahead. This opportunity will allow the team to make better decisions on how to move forward with the development.]

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

  • This will depend on many variables, however, our hope is that we will be able to exit Early Access in 1-2 years. We will be making regular assessments of our timeline as things progress, so we’ll be able to give better estimates along the way.

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

In addition to polishing the existing content that will launch on Early Access, our goal is to add the following;

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

The game is currently available as a download from our website in a Closed Beta State.

We plan to complete a volley of server tests and after we are satisfied with these load bearings and complete fixes, we plan to officially move the game status to an Open Beta state.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

  • At present, we do not have plans to change pricing while in Early Access. We will re-assess our pricing as part of our preparations to leave Early Access, and make adjustments at that time as needed.
  • Since the monetization model is micro-transaction based, we do not foresee large changes in our pricing model. For example, a booster pack should cost relatively the same (both in real world currency and in-game currency) now as it would 2 years from now. Our team will be monitoring the community to take their feedback into consideration when it comes to any and all changes that are considered. As with any other changes made to the game, pricing changes and reasons will be reflected in the change-log.

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

  • The short answer is ABSOLUTELY! We always practice open-door development and plan to continue that with the Steam Community at every step of our development from here on forward. We have always gained vital insight through social media, our forums, the conventions we showcase the game at, and all other sources of potential feedback.
  • Some specific goals we have for using feedback have been listed previously, but we want to focus on finding out which in-development features are most interesting to our players as well as making sure our pricing scheme is in line with what the community expects for a game that sells similar items.

About This Game

Visions of Zosimos is an Online Tactical CCG based in Hermetic Alchemy and Gnostic Mysticism where you utilize a central character, known as a homunculus, to wield a deck that spins the elements and conjures the denizens of the afterlife to fight against other players and NPC monsters.

Using Materia Cards with their own attributes and special abilities to craft your own Homunculus to fit your unique play style.



Create your own deck to you summon minions, wield spells of immense power, and alter how the board works with cards like Ambushes, Glyphs, and Terrains.
