What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Since 2013, Genesia Legacy has been through several test phases, which allowed to improve the code and game stability. Now, I need your help in order to test the game on different configuration and make final adjustments.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The game is currently stable and balanced, but as a part-time developer, I don't know how long the early access will last. The closed alpha has been a confirmation that Genesia Legacy is just how I wanted it: it’s an atypical and hard game.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“It will depend on future feedback, but I'm planning on working on:

  • A.I. of enemy Governors, currently disabled (priority).
  • Adjustment of long games playability (200+ turns).
  • Addition of new game mechanics, such as the shop, which will allow you to sell your goods.
  • Enhancement of some graphical elements.
  • Addition of new maps and "hard" and "expert" difficulty levels.
  • Enhancement of sound effects.

I have many ideas for enriching the game, but only buy Genesia Legacy if you want to enjoy the current content and not for what it could become.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The early access version of Genesia Legacy is very stable and already very enjoyable for turn-based strategy games enthusiasts. Most of those, who participated to the closed alpha were really thrilled and involved in the game's improvements.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I can't promise anything. Currently, I'm not planning on increasing the price of the game after early access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“To me, players feedback is really important, don't hesitate to share your feedback on:
