Big Update! Touch Support, Global Leaderboards, Mixed Reality and much more!

Happy new year everybody!
We've just released the latest version of Alpine Ski VR with many new exciting features!

NEW FEATURES
Global Leaderboards - Each level now has its own leaderboard. Complete a race and see where you place! Top scorers will be visible on the main menu. As this has only just been introduced, get playing now and be the first to get a top place!

Oculus Touch Support - You can now use Oculus Touch as ski poles to push yourself along and give you extra speed. They can also be used for navigating the menu.

Slalom Runs - After community feedback missing a gate now gives you a time penalty as opposed to ending the race.

Mixed Reality - Create mixed reality videos by dropping an externalcamera.cfg into the install path and switching on a third controller. We can't wait to see what you create!

TOP TIPS:
1. Only tilting your head will turn you. Turning your head will let you enjoy the view.
2. Keep your feet stationary, moving them will mean you're looking in the wrong direction. To check your direction of travel look down at your ski's and make sure you're feet are pointing in the same direction.

Feedback:
We'd love feedback from the community about how these updates are working for you or any other suggestion to make our game awesome!

Alpine Ski VR will release with optional Vive Controller Support

Hi all,
We're really excited about our release of Alpine Ski VR this friday! Its going to be live from 8am GMT, so wrap up warm and get ready to take to the slopes on one of our Slalom, Freestyle or Heliski levels!

We also have Vive Controller support now added! Switch on your controllers and you'll see them as ski poles to push yourself along, get that speed boost on the slaloms; you can even push yourself uphill!

Don't worry if you don't have the controllers, the headtilt works just as well. Use the keyboard or X controller to access the menu options and off you go.

We can't wait to see what you think!

SLALOM
  • Race against yourself or friends to beat the split times!
  • Choose the best line or your turns will slow you down!
  • Avoid the obstacles and enjoy the views

FREESTYLE
  • Snowparks, extreme cliffs and big airs!
  • The bigger the trick, the higher the score multiplier!
  • Land a trick dead on to get a perfect landing!

Ride around on the heli and enjoy the view
Fly and land the heli where ever you like

Sitting on the heli, looking through the clouds at the mountain below, skis strapped to your feet. The drop point is coming up, your route down already picked...

Stood at the start gate of a slalom run, the crowd going wild as the countdown to the race begins!
