What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

Help make this game great! We wanted to bring this game out to the market as soon as possible because we are so excited about virtual reality and this fun new experience. I hope you’ll enjoy it and share it with your friends and family. The game is complete as is but there’s so much more we can add to it to make it even better, that is where your input is needed.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We’ll be working towards the final release at the end of September. We plan on making updates and adjustments along the way. There are a lot of directions a game like this can go and I welcome your feedback and direction.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The next iteration will continue to play with perspective, how things feel when you’re large, small, rightside up and upside down. And we’ll play more with different forms of movement in virtual reality. We love teleportation and mixing in locomotion so you can go fast and feel it in your stomach - just slightly.
We have many ideas for user experience. We plan to strengthen the complexity of the puzzles and add in more distortions to challenge users perspective.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“House of Alice is a fully functioning game set in a beautiful house where you teleport to every well-decorated room and zap rabbits for good luck. There are 20 bunnies to discover but you must pick up a small geo object to shrink down in size to find them all. Once you’re mouse-sized your movement changes to high speed by swiping your thumb across the touchpad of the controller.

You can run under couches and zoom around corners really fast by moving your head. This is our favorite part of the game.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually raise the price as we ship new content and features. The market may change during iterations and affect the final release price.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We welcome your feedback and ideas. You can be a part of making this game a success.”

About This Game

The latest release of Indie game House of Alice is now available on Steam! Unlike many VR games, this virtual bunny hunt starts out in a beautiful real-looking house. You can pick up vases and candlesticks and throw them around for an exciting crash or chase after the rabbits to collect points. Like Alice in Wonderland, this family-friendly game explores shifting perspectives of large and small and you can jump through the looking glass for surreal adventures.

Discover a rabbit hole to uncover new scenes and characters both inside and outside the house. This game keeps expanding so if you haven’t been in recently, it is time to go back.

House of Alice is a good family game and a great way to experience Virtual Reality in a relaxed atmosphere. I hope you enjoy it and if you have ideas for things to add, please drop me a line.
